Hello everyone!

Sorry for this late update, but my internet connection has been down for almost 4 days!! I’ve been struggling, trying to keep things up with just my phone, but I just made it trough the first week of the Live and Dare Beginners Program and so far I’m impressed!

What to expect so far

So the hardest thing about meditating is to get that habit to really stick there. But at this point of the course you will definitely start enjoying your meditation, might even look forward to it!

Many people struggle with self blame and this doesn’t make meditation the easiest thing to begin with. The first week is all about just accepting the process and not to expect too much nor judge your progress. Self-criticism is something we want to remove from our lives so don’t go of thinking your progress isn’t good enough. If you made it this far, you have really done a great job with your self-discipline and even started to feel the benefits of meditation, even just in very small scale yet. Your general attitude has probably also started to shift towards the better.

Do I recommend this so far?

Since I have a lot of experience with meditation, I found it hard to as instructed since it was on a really basic level of learning meditation. But that was exactly what I was looking!

This far though, if you are not 100% committed to learn to meditate, I wouldn’t spend this amount just to learn the basics and later in life, fall back in to old habits and stop meditating. Remember, its a commitment to a practice that will bring you in line with your higher self.

But if you are serious about making a change and learn this stuff, then this program gives back its value in just the first week.

I started the second week yesterday and it keeps giving so far! I will be back with a review of this week next Friday so keep a look out. If you missed my earlier posts about Live and Dare you can read them here & here

  1. Hi Fredrik. The flow chart listing the benefits of meditation is an awesome reminder as to why we should strive to commit ourselves to a regular meditation practice. Like you, I have practiced meditation for a long time, on and off for over 20 years now. However, if I did not sit for that first day and then repeat it day after day, I would not be living the benefits as described in the chart above. So my advice to anyone considering starting to meditate is to start now because tomorrow never comes. Today is the only day we have to begin to improve our lives, so just go ahead and do it!
