Hello everyone! I hope you all are well and welcome back to another weekly update about the Live and Dare – Master Your Mind Beginners Course.
This online meditation program has actually added a lot more than I expected to my own daily meditation practice. This week was no different so let’s get to it and see what value is added this week to help you make a decision on whether it is for you, or not.
Chakras are specific centers in you body. This week you will be learning more about them and also to focus your attention towards them.
You will start with focusing on either The Third Eye chakra, or the Heart chakra. These are widely used as objects of meditation in the traditions of Yoga, Tantra, and Tibetan Buddhism.
Your practice this week starts at 11 minutes and have an attached audio file for guidance when adding this new part to your routine.
Integrate your senses
It can be hard to keep you focus still on one chakra without it getting distracted by some passing thoughts. A good trick is to attach a mantra, or a visualization, to your chakra. You learned all you need about mantras in week 3.
Giovanni also gives you a few tips that yogis have found to work particularly well with these chakras.
One of the keys to get results in your meditation practice is to learn to no self-evaluate during your time for meditation. If you hold on to expectations and focusing on “when it’s gonna happen”, then it probably will take much longer than you think.
This week is also about not criticizing yourself and the importance of a nonjudgmental altitude towards your practice. You get another extra audio file that guides you through the second chakra too.
Taking meditation into you daily life
Meditation is much more than just doing 10-20 min each day. When you feel comfortable with your daily practice, which you should do by now, it’s a great idea to bring mindful breathing exercises to your days.
This is the last part of this week. It’s great for those of you who are seeking deeper transformation, growth, healing, or enhancement in life.
By the end of this week you’ll be practicing for 13 minutes, using mantras, focusing on a chakra and using visualization. If you got this far, then you have made real progress and are probably seeing the benefits in you day-to-day life.
If you want to improve you life in areas as mental health, focusing, memory, productivity, emotions and much, much more, then head over to Live and Dare and join the Master Your Mind – Beginners Course!
